This means that 40% of our onboard Escort Teams are unarmed and adopt a non-lethal approach. These procedures apply to ALL our Sea Marshals and Escort Teams, including the 60% who carry arms.

All SMS Ltd security consultants carry out Non-Lethal Countermeasures recognised within the RoF (Rules of Force) and RoE (Rules of Engagement) procedures to deter and prevent attacks and the successful hijacking of client vessels
